So, its that time of week where I share with you all the numbers of my (hopefully) diminishing shame. I did a spot of math and came up with this week's changes, and so far it looks pretty good. Numbers below the jump!
Height: 6'4"
Age: 23
Starting weight for week: 304.0
Weight (as of morning of 1/17/10): 299.0
Corrected weight (for 1/16/10): 301.33
Adjusted weight change for week: 2.67 lbs
Approximate weight change per day: .38 lbs
BMI: 36.4
Body fat percentage: 32.45-38%
A few notes about the above numbers. The corrected weight was calculated by averaging my morning and evening weights for each day, then adding those weights together and averaging them. This was done to reduce the influence of things like water weight, food weight, and waste weight. Once I had that number, it was subtracted from the week's starting weight of 304.0 to obtain the Adjusted Weight Change (AWC). The overall lack of change in body fat percentage isn't really a surprise this early in the game. While my trust in my measurements is sort of dubious, the lack of overall change for such a small drop in weight is to be expected.
I am fairly certain that the math is solid and provides a less obscured picture of the weight changes throughout the week, but if anyone sees an issue, let me know.
I'll be posting a recipe a little later, but until then, here's to health!
